Hi, my name is Chikit (智傑). You can call me simply by Kit.

I am currently in Hong Kong working as a software testing analyst. I was previously based in Yangon, Myanmar operating a farm supplying organic vegetables until the pandemic hit.

Software Testing Analyst

Cognizant is a NASDAQ-100, multinational IT corporation that provides digital, technology, consulting, and operations services across various industries.

As an on-site Testing Analyst at an internationally-renowned, innovative consumer electronics company, my responsibilities included:

  • Thai/English-language quality assurance testing for an AI voice assistant
  • Thoroughly auditing the software’s functionalities and behaviors
  • Identifying and promptly escalating issues to be fixed
  • Utilizing automation tools to efficiently schedule test runs
  • Communicating with software engineers to clarify requirements and functions

Farmer, Co-Founder
August 2019 – January 2021 Yangon, Myanmar

Gazunmyo is a urban research-oriented organic farm based in Yangon, Myanmar that grows a variety of vegetables in a environmentally conscious way supplying to locally renowned restaurants and industry players.

Responsibilities include:

  • Research and implement agricultural practices used on the farm
  • Crop planning and layout design
  • Sourcing and purchasing of materials
  • Website development and design
  • Develop business and marketing materials including graphic design and social media management

Contracted to remotely provide one year of technical advice and assistance on systems previously managed during employment.
Remote Farmer
December 2018 – August 2019 Yangon, Myanmar

Together with my friend, and now business partner, Adrian Thaik Din, we’ve moonlighted a thriving small-scale urban farm at the heart of Yangon supplying to some of Yangon’s finest restaurants. All while still working at our respective day jobs.

I am responsible for farm production processes, purchasing, and technical maintenance.

Software Analyst and Projects Coordinator
November 2015 – August 2019 Samut Prakarn, Thailand

Jinpao is a Taiwanese company specializing in manufacturing of precision sheet metal parts for industries such as aerospace, telecommunications, electronics, energy, healthcare and the food-related sector.

Notable accomplishments:

  • Coordinated the full project life-cycle of the company’s MES system
  • Completed the installation and on-boarding of company’s knowledge management system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and prioritize software features to be developed
  • Data analysis using SQL, Python, and Excel to facilitate executive decision-making
  • Identify and promptly escalate issues to be fixed
  • Coordinate with overseas software engineers to clarify requirements and functions
  • Communicate with local Thai users to clarify requirements and functions
August 2014 – September 2014 Bangkok, Thailand

Interned at a large-scale waste water treatment facility for Siriraj Hospital, Thailand’s oldest and largest hospital.

  • Observed and operated a large scale water treatment facility (Activated Sludge) which further contributed to my senior project involving designing and constructing a household water treatment system
  • Learnt basic skills in electronics wiring and component design used in control panels which proved useful in future personal projects
